Victoria Anderson

Victoria Anderson is the founder and Clinical Exercise Physiologist behind Longevity Health and Fitness. With a strong commitment to delivering expert, empathetic, and research-informed exercise support, she helps individuals navigating complex health conditions. She specialises in developing personalised programmes that promote long-term wellbeing, functional independence, and improve overall quality of life.

Victoria leads a multidisciplinary team of clinical exercise physiologists, physiotherapists, and specialist personal trainers. Together, they deliver bespoke exercise interventions for a wide range of conditions, from neurological challenges such as Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, and stroke, to cardiac rehabilitation, cancer recovery, orthopaedic conditions, and age-related concerns including sarcopenia and osteoporosis.

Her approach is grounded by the belief that movement can meaningfully build confidence, resilience, and longevity, particularly when guided by scientific evidence and delivered with care. Under her leadership, Longevity delivers a client-centred environment that bridges the gap between the medical and fitness sectors.

In addition to her work at Longevity, Victoria is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of East London. Her research focuses on the effectiveness of isometric exercise training for managing hypertension, further strengthening the clinical foundations of Longevity’s service model.

Victoria regularly delivers lectures, webinars, and professional development sessions on clinical exercise, rehabilitation, and working with special populations. She collaborates closely with case managers, healthcare providers, charities, and local authorities to expand access to safe and effective exercise solutions.

Whether working directly with clients, leading strategic health initiatives, or advocating for integrated care pathways, Victoria remains dedicated to transforming lives through the power of exercise, tailoring every intervention to meet the unique needs of the individual.

Success stories

Following a sudden cardiac arrest in 2023, Paul, aged 64, was focused on rebuilding confidence in everyday movement and understanding how to exercise safely after a major cardiac event. Despite having previously considered himself fit, returning to physical activity felt daunting, particularly when it came to cardiovascular exercise such as walking.

Dave, aged 69, was referred to Longevity Health and Fitness by his daughter, who had noticed increasing stiffness, reduced mobility, and a loss of strength despite him remaining very active day to day. Dave has lived with ankylosing spondylitis since his 30s and, although fiercely independent and working six days a week, had begun to experience reduced balance, more frequent trips, and visible muscle loss in his legs.

Beril first came to Longevity Health and Fitness seeking a personal trainer to help her build a safe, consistent routine that would fit her busy lifestyle. She has successfully transitioned from a basic beginner style routine with at-home exercises to a gym-based environment, where she has learned to use barbells and develop foundational compound movements with weights.

“Victoria has been advancing my husband’s mobility for some months now.He was initially quite reluctant! He has been diagnosed with dementia. However her exercises and approach proved so varied and worthwhile he quickly understood the benefits. Moreover she makes the classes fun, has an excellent sense of humour and he now participates with enthusiasm. I have sat in on all the sessions, she works carefully through the body strengthening the muscles and improving flexibility and balance. We both highly recommend her sessions.”

“I have been working with Victoria now for several months to address the kinesiological needs of a progressive decease. I don’t live permanently in Europe and mostly in Argentina. Our sessions are therefore remote on line. I could have resorted to a local kinesiologist to do Victoria’s work. But not for one second I have contemplated such change (even if our Argentine sessions take place at 6:00am!!). Victoria has been concerned for my well being permanently. Always checking on symptoms and progression. I have felt all along that she has the right set of exercises for my condition. I wholeheartedly recommend her.”

“For about four months my husband and I (both in our 90s) have been fortunate in being in a little group of about 5 elderly people tutored by Victoria Anderson of Longevity. She hasdesigned exercises suited to our age and ability and comes each weekto guide us through them. Victoria has a delightful personality, is a wonderful teacher, and shows remarkable empathy and concern for eachof us in the class. More significantly we have seen a distinct improvement in our mobility since in her care and look forward to her visits.”

“Victoria has been of immense help to me in my recovery from a hip replacement operation. She is very well organised, greatly skilled and knowledgeable, utterly dedicated and highly effective in her treatment methods. A session with her is guaranteed to lift the spirits and increase awareness of potential for improvement.”

Alan

“I suffered a sudden cardiac arrest in 2023 and am very lucky to have made a recovery at all, but with the ongoing support from Victoria and Josh, I’m fitter and stronger than I have been in 10 years.

After completing my cardiac rehab, I continued working with Longevity through online sessions to help me prepare and recover from two knee replacements. I now focus on ongoing strength, mobility, and cardiovascular fitness in my sessions.

The support has been professional, reassuring, and well tailored to my needs. I’m very grateful for the guidance and would highly recommend Longevity Health & Fitness.”
