What we work on in sessions

This is about moving well for real life. We build simple, sustainable habits that support you through the natural changes of hormones, pregnancy, postnatal recovery and menopause.

Strength

Muscle and strength training built around push, pull, hinge, squat and carry. Usable strength for daily life, with loading that respects life stages like postnatal recovery or menopause. Supports bone density and joint comfort.

Cardiovascular

Cardiovascular fitness workouts that build steady endurance and recovery between efforts. Fewer breathless moments, more consistent energy, and heart health that keeps up with your day.

Mind and mood

Mobility

Joint-health exercises and mobility work to ease tight hips, backs and shoulders and restore comfortable range. Everyday moves feel smoother and posture holds up better.

Heart and metabolic health

Balance

Targeted balance and control so you feel sure-footed on stairs, pavements and in classes. Better stability means fewer near-misses and a stronger base for future training.

How our women’s health sessions work

A clear plan and steady coaching. We start where you are and build at your pace, at home in London & Surrey or online.

Initial consultation & assessment

We get clear on your goals, where you’re starting from and what success looks like. We note any relevant medical history and your weekly routine, then agree a few simple priorities.

Your personalised
plan

We map out a routine that fits your life. Expect a mix of strength, cardio, mobility and balance, with pelvic-floor or core support if helpful. Sessions and home practice are short, clear and realistic.

One-to-one
sessions

Regular coaching that fits your week. We keep technique simple, progress sensibly and make sure every minute moves you toward your goals so you finish feeling good, not drained.

Home exercise
support

Between sessions, you get targeted, easy-to-follow exercises to keep momentum. Think small extras you can slot into busy days, plus tips that help habits stick.

What progress can look like

Leah first came to us, struggling after a recent menopause diagnosis. With terrible fatigue, poor sleep, and generally uncomfortable and sluggish in her own body. She shared she no longer had the motivation for the exercises she used to enjoy. Dealing with this stage of life required us to provide gentle reassurance and emotional support.

Leah

Katherine came to us after being diagnosed with Osteopenia, putting her at risk of developing Osteoporosis. She was determined to increase her Bone Mineral Density (BMD) but was initially scared to perform the heavier resistance training necessary, worrying it would cause injury and also not understanding the basics of the gym or weight lifting.

Katherine

Vanessa came to us during a time of significant change. In her early fifties, she was navigating perimenopause and menopause alongside chronic fatigue and fluctuating energy levels. Exercise had begun to feel unpredictable, and she was understandably cautious about doing anything that might trigger symptom flare-ups.

Women’s FAQs

Women at any life stage who want kind, practical exercise support. Pregnancy, postnatal, peri/menopause, pelvic health concerns or just wanting to feel stronger and more comfortable.

Yes, when tailored. We adjust exercises to your trimester, symptoms and comfort, and avoid movements your midwife/consultant has advised against.

We begin with gentle, appropriate work once you’ve had medical sign-off. C-section recovery needs extra care around the scar and pressure management; we build gradually.

It can support symptoms. We use pelvic-floor-aware cues, breathing and load management, and keep impact sensible. We’ll also encourage input from a pelvic health physio if needed.

We focus on pressure management, posture and progressive strength. The aim is better tension and control, not “perfect” gap closure.

We use strength training, simple impact (when suitable), mobility and steady cardio to support bone and muscle, energy and mood. Pace and recovery are built in.

Yes. We prioritise comfort, pacing and consistency, and adjust on the day if symptoms change.

No. We can work with bodyweight and simple kit at home. If you have dumbbells or bands, great; if not, we’ll make a plan without.

Typically 60 minutes, weekly or fortnightly. We’ll set a rhythm that fits your goals and routine.

With your permission, yes. Joined-up care keeps advice consistent.

Yes. We’ll plan sessions that work around feeds, naps and real life.
