What we work on in sessions

One-to-one training that fits your life. Simple plan, sensible progress, real-world results.

Strength

Muscle and strength training built around push, pull, hinge, squat and carry. The goal is usable strength for daily life. It also helps protect bone density and joint stability so you stay capable in later life.

Heart and metabolic health

Mobility

Cardiovascular fitness workouts that raise your endurance and improve recovery between efforts. Expect fewer breathless moments, more consistent energy, and a bigger engine for everything else you do.

Cardiovascular

Joint health exercises and mobility work to reduce stiffness and improve usable range. Everyday moves feel smoother, posture holds up better, and the usual niggles are less likely to gate-crash your week.

Balance

Targeted balance and control so you move with confidence on stairs, pavements and in the gym. Better stability means fewer near-misses and a sturdier foundation for future training.

How personal training works

A simple plan, steady coaching and clear progress. We start where you are and build at your pace, at home in London & Surrey or online.

Initial consultation & assessment

We get a clear picture of where you’re at now, what you want to achieve, and your goals for the next few weeks and months. We also note any relevant medical history. Then we agree simple priorities to guide your plan.

Your personalised plan

We map out a weekly routine that fits your schedule and kit: a mix of muscle and strength training, cardiovascular fitness workouts, joint health exercises and mobility. Clear sessions, clear rest days.

One-to-one sessions

Typically 60 minutes, weekly or fortnightly. We coach technique, set sensible progressions and adjust on the day so training feels challenging, not chaotic.

Simple home practice

Between sessions, we provide targeted home exercises to reinforce your progress and keep you moving forward. This helps you build consistency, stay on track, and feel confident in your progress.

Progress you can see

We track the basics: weights lifted, reps, walk/run distance or pace, session consistency and how you feel in daily life. We review every 6-8 weeks and tune the plan.

At home in London & Surrey, a local park or gym, or online. We work with whatever space and kit you have, or none at all.

What progress can look like

Christopher initially came to us through a referral, primarily seeking relief from knee pain. As we established rapport and successfully addressed the initial discomfort, his goals evolved beyond simple physical therapy. As a young man, Christopher wanted to be guided toward a healthy lifestyle to better his quality of life and establish preventative measures for his future health.

Beril first came to Longevity Health and Fitness seeking a personal trainer to help her build a safe, consistent routine that would fit her busy lifestyle. She has successfully transitioned from a basic beginner style routine with at-home exercises to a gym-based environment, where she has learned to use barbells and develop foundational compound movements.

Taylor began working with Longevity in their twenties while recovering from a brain injury alongside a spinal fusion. At the start, one of the main challenges was reshaping how Taylor approached training, particularly around frequency, exercise selection, and the value of whole-body movements rather than isolated or overly repetitive exercises.
