They incorporate strength training, balance work, manual therapy, and tailored exercise prescription into their sessions, always led by client goals and needs. With experience working alongside physiotherapists, GPs, and case managers, they believe in collaborative care that empowers each individual.

They have also supported elite performers and athletes, serving as Resident Physiotherapist on Matilda the Musical, Moulin Rouge, and Priscilla the Party! and others, and currently hold the role of Lead Physiotherapist for Team Bermuda at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Outside of clinical practice, Patience has been actively involved in community and sporting initiatives, including delivering Sight Loss Awareness & Guide Running sessions through  England Athletics. Success stories

Sarah, in her mid-60s, came to us experiencing ongoing knee and shoulder pain that had gradually started to limit her day-to-day life.

Activities she once enjoyed, including swimming, long walks and spending extended time on her feet, had become increasingly difficult, and she found herself avoiding movement for fear of making things worse.

Sarah

Donna, aged 79, came to Longevity Health & Fitness following a left-sided stroke, which had resulted in weakness, reduced balance, and a loss of fine motor control. At the start of her rehabilitation, Donna was reliant on a walking stick, had lost the ability to write, draw, or play the cello, and was experiencing brain fog and reduced cognitive clarity.

Justine, aged 80, came to Longevity Health and Fitness following a period of falls, frailty, hip surgery and long-standing osteoarthritis. At the time, she was extremely fearful of movement due to the pain she was experiencing, which had significantly limited her mobility and confidence. Even small day-to-day movements felt daunting, and her world had gradually become much smaller as a result.

Exercise for health, fitness and longevity

Exercise is essential for improving health, managing conditions, and enhancing longevity. We support individuals of all ages and health backgrounds to find the right exercise approach for their unique needs, offering personalised plans that help overcome any barriers along the way.

Specialised exercise for health conditions and well-being

Your health today doesn’t have to limit your tomorrow. Our clinical exercise programs are tailored to support you, considering any health challenges or considerations you may have.

My sessions with Patience have helped me considerably. She is an extremely pleasant person who is not only knowledgeable in her field, but also encouraging and motivating. She was able to explain what each exercise would do to improve my stability and balance and the reasons for this. She also provided me with diagrams to remind me what exercises I should continue to do in between my face to face sessions with her. I would recommend her unreservedly as a physiotherapist.
