Barbara
Barbara is a clinical exercise trainer at Longevity Health and Fitness. She works with clients navigating a wide range of health conditions, with a particular focus on neurological conditions, and active ageing, lower back and joint pain.
Barbara typically supports clients with neurological conditions, and especially enjoys working with people with Parkinson’s Disease, where she makes the sessions fun and challenging at the same time. Working together with neurophysios, case managers, psychologists, and occupational therapists helps her better understand clients’ needs and realise that everyone is different and that each client requires a unique approach.
She loves seeing her elderly clients become stronger and more confident in their daily movements. In sessions, they focus on strength, balance, coordination, as well as cognitive functions and reactions. She believes that working out should be something clients are looking forward to, and she always brings a smile and a positive attitude to training.

During her time working for Longevity Health and Fitness, Barbara has attended a number of courses and seminars that have helped to increase her knowledge of how to train people with different medical conditions.
Barbara is a strong believer that movement is the best medication. This work is her passion, and she will always use exercises to help clients with day-to-day activities, movements that will ease their pain and create habits that will improve their quality of life. And we always try to make it fun!!!
