Julian began working with Longevity at the age of 75, having lived with multiple sclerosis for many years. Until this point, he had limited experience with structured exercise and was unsure what was safe or appropriate given his condition. Despite this uncertainty, he was motivated to take greater control of his physical health and remain as active and independent as possible later in life.

After finding Longevity online, Julian started one-to-one exercise sessions with a practitioner experienced in neurological conditions. From the outset, sessions focused on building strength, maintaining mobility, and, importantly, developing confidence in movement. Exercise was introduced at a pace that felt manageable, with each session carefully tailored to his abilities and how he was presenting on the day. Encouragement and reassurance were central, helping Julian feel supported as he explored what his body was capable of.

Over time, Julian became more confident with exercise and increasingly engaged in physical activity. He developed a strong sense of achievement following sessions and a growing belief in his ability to move safely despite living with MS. These early confidence gains helped reinforce consistency and motivation.

As with many people living with MS, day-to-day variability was expected. Sessions were adapted when needed to reflect changes in energy, symptoms, or mobility, ensuring exercise always felt safe, achievable, and positive. This flexible, supportive approach allowed Julian to continue progressing while staying motivated and confident in his movement.
