Emma

Emma is a clinical exercise trainer at Longevity Health and Fitness. She works with clients navigating a wide range of health conditions, with a particular focus on neurological rehabilitation, brain injuries and active ageing.

She works with clients living with conditions such as MS, Parkinson’s, Stroke, Dementia, and rare neurological disorders, including Syringomyelia and Myasthenia. Emma also supports ageing clients who are looking to improve everyday movement and reduce pain, particularly in tasks like getting in and out of bed or improving balance and mobility.

Her sessions focus on building strength, balance, coordination, proprioception, and walking gait. These take place in a range of settings, from client homes to local gyms and parks. Emma takes a functional, client-led approach, adapting exercises to support daily living and overall wellbeing.

She often works alongside physiotherapists and case managers to ensure clients receive the care they need, which supports her own development as a well-rounded practitioner.

With over 14 years of experience teaching swimming, Emma brings a deep understanding of movement both in water and on land, skills that translate directly into strength, stability, and functional mobility for her clients. She is also newly qualified in Cardiac Rehabilitation and is delivering group-based recovery sessions across North London.

Emma is passionate about her work and takes pride in supporting clients to manage their health conditions, maintain independence, and feel more confident, especially on the days when clients aren’t feeling their best.

“I found Longevity by chance when looking for an exercise professional who could understand the needs of my husband. He had a stroke many years ago, has mobility limitations and overall osteoarthritis. He was becoming less and less active and I needed to find the right person to gently motivate and push him. It has made such a difference to his strength and stamina and is allowing him to maintain more independence. I couldn’t recommend Longevity enough!”
