Kristin came to us after being diagnosed with Osteopenia, putting her at risk of developing Osteoporosis. She was determined to increase her Bone Mineral Density (BMD) but was initially scared to perform the heavier resistance training necessary, worrying it would cause injury and also not understanding the basics of the gym or weight lifting.
Our approach focused on shifting her mindset from fear to confidence by starting with safe, controlled movements that we would relate to her doing in everyday life. We gradually progressed her routine, introducing precise loading exercises – like weighted squats – and small, safe impact moves to specifically stimulate bone growth in her hips and spine.
With consistent sessions and a tailored strategy, Kristin grew stronger, felt more stable, and has confidently integrated a gym-based exercise routine into her life. Kristin’s journey proves that with the right expert guidance, you can successfully take proactive control of your bone health and secure a stronger, more resilient future.
